Morocco film technicians, bilingual in most cases, are used to work with foreigner teams

To work in the film industry, Morocco film technicians should bear a professional identity card granted by the Moroccan Film Administration (CCM).

Professional cards are delivered to film technicians attesting that they hold certificates or degrees or have acquired a professional experience.

Cooperation between production companies and film technicians should be concluded by a written contract.

Working days are on the base of weeks of  six days, and days are ten hours on the floor. Any work exceeding the above is considered as over time and should be compensated as follows:

    ▪ Beyond 10 hours and up to 14 hours working: 25 % increase on the basis of salary per hour.
    ▪ Beyond 14 hours and up to 18 hours working: 50% increase on the basis of salary per hour.
    ▪ Beyond 18 hours: 100% increase on the basis of salary per hour.
The production companies and the technicians may agree about a package concerning overtime before the start of any collaboration.
